MAGIC KINGDOM

The most iconic Disney park, home to Cinderella’s Castle, classic rides like Space Mountain, and beloved characters. Experience fairy tales, thrilling coasters, and dazzling fireworks in the place where Disney magic truly comes alive!

Disney World in Orlando (better than Disneyland in LA) isn’t just for kids and it’s not all about Disney characters either. It’s pure fun, with incredible attention to detail and the best customer service you’ll ever experience! There are four main parks and water parks too.

Orlando has plenty to do beyond Disney, plus lots of easy day trips outside of the city. Tickets and accommodations are cheapest in September so a perfect time to go. Disney tickets don’t have to be used on consecutive days, e.g. a 5-day pass is valid to use over 10 days, and a 3-day pass for 5 days. Since weekends and public holidays are busier, consider doing day trips out of the city then.

Ticket prices vary daily based on events and expected crowds. For a 3–4 day pass, expect to pay around $1,000–$1,200 for two people, depending on the options you choose, and it’s worth every cent!

For example:

  • 3-day Park Hopper: $982.78 (including tax)

  • 4-day, one park per day: $1,068.88
Prices from the last week of September.

Also, consider a lightening Pass which gives you faster entry to rides and well worth if even for one day also look at Disney after hours it gives you night time entry, currently there is one scheduled for 3rd September for Hollywood Studios and a couple for Epcot. these sell out so if your trip happens to coincide with these dates maybe give it a go. September is the month with the lowest crowds.

Park Hopper tickets are great if you have fewer days since you can visit one park in the morning and another in the evening. Take a midday break for a nap or swim before heading back to a different park.

Orlando is very spread out, so staying near the parks is worth it. Driving to the parks isn’t ideal either, some parking lots are so huge they have transport just to get you to the entrance.

Disney’s transportation system is excellent, and Drury buses are quick and direct. I would not stay anywhere other than the Drury Disney Springs, the best value accommodation and perks by far. It's new, has great transport to parks and free food! This is important because food at the parks is expensive and you're already spending a lot on tickets. Grab a muffin or 2 or some crackers from the breakfast buffet for a snack later on! You can also take food and drinks to your room from the buffet so stock up on condiments, fruit and packages snacks for the rest of your trip!

There’s also plenty of free entertainment every night at Disney Springs and around the area. Accommodations near Disney are pricier on weekends, so you could stay in Orlando for a few days, visit another destination, then return to use the rest of your Disney pass.
